In the northwest of the island of Lanzarote, the beach known as Famara beach, with light golden sand, stretches for more than five kilometres. It is located within the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park, between the fishing village of La Caleta de Famara and the base of the impressive Famara cliffs. It can be seen in all its splendor at low tide, when the water forms a thin film on the sand that reflects the sky and the cliffs like a gigantic mirror.
